Olivia Schrantz is a ballroom and contemporary dancer based in Boston, MA. She is an international ballroom competitor and currently specializes in ballroom and American smooth, and used to be an avid west coast swing dancer. Olivia and her dance partner Max have finalled at several major competitions across the Northeast. 

She has danced for several dance companies including Paula Higa Dance and Opera Company of Middlebury. Olivia was the 2022 winner of Dancing with the Vermont Stars. She has coached several collegiate ballroom teams including the University of Vermont, Tufts University, and Brandeis University. This is her third year coaching for the Harvard team. Her favorite dance is international tango. 

Tola is a former ballet dancer from Poland who transitioned into ballroom dancing in the fall of 2021 while at the University of Michigan. Initially competing in all four styles in the collegiate circuit, she is now specializing in International Latin and training at the Dance Fever Studio in Boston.

Tola's dance journey included working on several productions in Opera Krakowska, like Cinderella, Carmina Burana, and The Nutcracker with ensemble and corps de ballet roles, competing all around England in contemporary and jazz with the Royal Holloway Dance Society,  and winning 9th place in classical ballet in the final of Dance World Cup in 2014 in Algarve, Portugal. Focusing solely on ballroom in the last couple of years, she competes in Open Amateur competitions around the country, having finaled or placed in the top 10 in Open Latin events like the Windy City Open, Ohio Star Ball, or MIT Open.

Outside of dance Tola works in brain research at Harvard, but is an avid literature lover, enjoys painting, hiking in nature, and petting every dog on her way to work.

Mariko was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She started dancing at age five, studying classical ballet at Boston Ballet, Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre, and the American Academy of Ballet. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Intellectual History at Harvard University where she served as the Captain of the Harvard Ballroom Dance Team.

Mariko and Nazar began their partnership in 2012. They trained extensively in Italy with William Pino and Alessandra Bucciarelli, as well as with the best coaches in the world in NY, the UK and Europe. Mariko and Nazar developed a love of the Ballroom Showdance category, as it demands skills in performance, storytelling, lifts, and acting.

Mariko and Nazar worked closely with Sports Psychology coaches George Mumford and Rocky Aliberti, and incorporate their wisdom into their work with students. They strongly believe in the importance of solid technique combined with understanding of motivation, stress, strategic planning, and personal expression.

Nazar and Mariko are five time United States Ballroom Showdance Champions, two time World Ballroom Showdance Silver Medalists, two time World Ballroom Showdance Bronze Medalists, and five time World Ballroom Showdance Finalists. Other results include Canadian Open Professional Ballroom Champions, US Open Professional Ballroom Finalists, Eastern United States Professional Ballroom Champions, Eastern United States Showdance Champions, World Masters Showdance Champions, Yankee Classic Showdance Champions, US National Professional Rising Star Ballroom Finalists and British Open Professional Rising Star Ballroom Finalists.
