Policies

In no particular order:

There will be no classes on University Holidays.

If an instructor cannot teach class on a given night, we will do our best to find a substitute. If we are unable to do so, class will be canceled and most likely not made up at a later date. (this has yet to occur)

We do not guarantee participants someone with whom to dance though there are usually more than enough people in the class and all classes rotate partners when necessary.

People attending classes without paying will be held accountable to the University.

Space in a class will not be reserved without payment. This is because classes fill.

Refunds will not be given. This too is because classes fill. You may, however, request to transfer your registration to another person. It is your responsibility to inform us of this change. You may also request to switch to another class IF you have an academic conflict such as a late section or evening class. Though permission will normally be given, all such exceptions will be made at the discretion of the Vice President..

Classes are run by the Harvard Ballroom Dance Team. Team members attending the class for learning purposes are expected to register and pay like everyone else.

Lessons, while only advertised to Harvard affiliates, are open to everyone.

The entire semester of dancing is the same price regardless of date of registration.

If you want to "try it out", one lesson is $10. We know this is expensive, so just sign up for the whole semester; you'll be glad you did.

And that being said... let there be dancing!
