Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the classes held?
Check the social lessons schedule for locations and directions!

Can I register in person at the door?
Although we do offer in-person registration, we strongly encourage you to register online. Classes fill up quickly! The earlier you reserve your spot, the better. Plus I'm sure you don't want to wait in line to register in person!

Do I need to bring a partner?
No partner is required for any of our classes. Social dancing is a great way to meet people; you'll have plenty of people to dance with during class! Our teachers always rotate partners to give everyone the opportunity to dance with different people.

Can I bring a partner if I have one? If so, will I be forced to rotate partners?
Yes and no. You're welcome to bring all of your friends and of course, that special someone to dance with. Although in social dancing everyone is strongly encouraged to rotate partners to meet new people, you will not be forced to change partners if you don't want to. We cannot force you to do anything you don't want to do...remember that we want you to have fun dancing!

Do I need to have dance experience?
No, we welcome absolute beginners! In fact, every social class is beginner-level unless otherwise noted. Just bring yourself and we'll do the rest!

What if I have two left feet or no rhythm?
Do not worry! Our teachers are amazing and they will make wonders with your dancing. We believe that dancing is for EVERYONE.

What should I wear to class? Do I need special shoes?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable. Remember that you will be moving a lot, so wear clothes that will allow you to dance while not making you too hot. No special shoes required. We just advise you to wear comfortable attire.

Is there any "fine print" I should read?
Yes, please! Read our Lesson Policies.
